Good variety of foods for picky kids. Love their fresh sliced mangoes with chili sauce.

My husband and I booked Lucky Village's large party room for a reception lunch after my in-laws' funeral. The weekend manager, Jason, was very friendly and accommodating, coming to check on us frequently while we were there and ensuring that we had enough staff to accommodate our party of 64. The service was very speedy, and the hostess at the front was very professional and was well-equipped to handle our questions during our initial visit to check out the venue and test the food. The food quality itself is pretty standard in both selection and taste. Lucky Village doesn't have the widest selection when compared to some neighboring businesses, but it's worth the value paid. Food was replenished regularly and everything was steaming hot, which I was happy with. Overall, I do recommend going here as the bang for the buck is there, and the service is exceptionally good compared to other Chinese buffets.

Honestly. I came to Lucky Village Buffet Restaurant was because they were open soon after power came back on from Hurricane Beryl. The surrounding businesses were either have limited service or not even open because they were partially energized. I told my foodie friend to come as early as it opened at 11 am. The restaurant started to fill up rather quickly by 11:30 am. This was my first time coming in as I drove by thousands of times. Looking from outside as it was just a typical Chinese buffet restaurant. But, wow, inside is something else. This restaurant is huge. It has multi-level layout of different sized booths. The seats were pretty comfy. The tables were clean, I mean they were cleaner than most Chinese restaurants in Chinatown. The chandeliers looking gorgeously shining down at the interior. Looking so grand. The buffet area was pretty clean and organized. I like it as for lunchtime on a budget at $13.49. The food choices blown me away. I am a picky eater. Everything I tried was pretty good compared to other buffet restaurants in town. My friend didn't like certain things from the line. I would avoid them next time.

I have came here so many times with family. We always experience great service. My family has came here since it first opened. The food is always good and have many options for whatever dietary restriction you are on. They get pretty full in the weekends, so I recommend coming to try this place out during the week. The takeout options are always great if you don't have time to sit down to eat. They have a variety of seating options depending on your party size. Can get pretty loud, so just a heads up for my peeps who have sensory issues.

This place is pretty great! The vibes are casual. The price is like $16 - $17 for buffet. And some of the food is pretty good. I like the fries, the beef, the butter garlic shrimp, the egg drop soup, and the green beans. The spicy thai soup, the fried rice, the dumplings, and the ice cream are okay. I wouldn't recommend the rice noodles, the crawfish, or the boiled shrimp.

It's been probably a decade since coming here but the in-laws invited us out and so I was excited to come and check out what a lucky Village in 2023 looks like. First off, still so beautiful inside. The ambience looks elegant but after a while you do start to notice that dirty mess. Service is extremely fast with bringing your drinks out and cleaning up the plates but I think it's just how many people are leaving their trash behind that gets crazy. FOOOOD: Must haves are chicken nuggets (these are wayyy better than any fast food spots), fries, sushi, tilapia, lo mein, general tso, and many people went for the crab and clams so if you like that then I guess go for that too. Dessert was disappointing. There were probably two cake bite options and ice cream (that tasted more like frozen yogurt). I was excited for the mango but it had some extra sweet sour kind of topping that threw me off. I didn't check the reviews before coming bc I've been here before so seeing the amount of people talking down on the broccoli was nerve racking because I totally enjoyed the hell out of the broccoli...but did I inspect it?
